Derry Crown Court
A man with an address in England has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges.
Ivan Chan (38) with an address at Creswick Avenue in Essex appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.
He faced three charges including possessing cannabis with intent to supply on August 7, 2024 as well as a charge of possessing the drugs on the same date.
Chan was further charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis on dates between July 7 and July 20, 2024.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Chan said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on May 1 and remanded in continuing custody.
