Police receive report of criminal damage at a Derry special needs school

Police in Derry have received a report of criminal damage at the new Ardnashee School located on the Northland Road in the city.

Multiple padlocks used to secure a gate to the site have been cut by someone who has been allowing their dogs to roam.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The school is due to open in the near future so this behaviour must stop. Anyone caught damaging property or allowing their dogs to roam and foul on the site are at risk of getting arrested and having to explain their actions."
