Derry Magistrate's Court
A man with 102 previous convictions who has been 'consistently breaching his bail conditions over the past two weeks' has been given his 'absolute final warning' after appearing at Derry Magistrates Court.
Ryan McLaughlin (36) of Glenabbey Road in Derry was on bail for charges of burglary from December last year.
As part of his bail conditions, he was ordered to follow a curfew that, according to police, he has been 'consistently breaking' over the past two weeks.
He was deemed to be at high risk of reoffending and high risk to the public, showing 'complete disregard' for his bail conditions.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that McLaughlin had presented himself to police, telling the court that he had initially breached his curfew one night and 'panicked' but had not committed any new offences in that time.

District Judge Barney McElhom granted bail, telling McLaughlin that this was his 'absolute final warning' and that any breach would lead to him being remanded in custody.
He will appear again on April 3.
