Derry Magistrates' Court
Police were called to an incident in which a man was 'chasing' his neighbour, Derry Magistrates' Court heard today.
Sean Canning (41) of Clon Elagh in Derry admitted a charge of disorderly behavior on October 27.
The court heard that police were called to a disturbance and found the defendant in the street covered in blood.
When police approached him he responded aggressively and was arrested.
An interview with Canning had to be terminated due to his aggression.
A defence solicitor said Canning had fallen and injured himself and his neighbour had been trying to help.
He said his client accepted he had caused disturbance.
District Judge Barney McElholm said the matter was 'largely verbal' and fined Canning £300.
