Derry man returned for trial on a series of drug charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges. 

Anthony Colm Feeney (37) of Moyola Walk in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrates' Court today. 

He was charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine on a date between December 16 2023 and January 10 2024.

He was also charged being concerned in the supply of  cannabis on December 22 2023 as well as a charge of possessing cannabis on January 9 2024.

Feeney was also charged with failing to comply with a serious crime prevention order on January 9 2024.

It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. 

Feeney said he did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage. 

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on February 19 and released on bail.
