Derry Magistrates' Court
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of charges.
Christopher Stevenson (41) of Dunowen Park in Clady appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.
He was charged with robbery of a bank card from a man on January 4 last year.
He was also charged with assault with intent to rob on the same man, possessing an offensive weapon namely a knife and falsely imprisoning the man.
All these charges were also said to have occurred on the same date.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Stevenson said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on February 17 and released on continuing bail.
