Case against Limavady man charged with attempted murder of his partner to be reviewed

The case against a Limavady man charged with the attempted murder of his partner will be reviewed in December. 

Stephen McLaughlin (44) of Alexander Road in Limavady appeared by video link at Derry Crown Court today. 

He was charged with the attempted murder of a female on September 18, 2022 and the offence is aggravated by domestic abuse. 

When the charge was put to him McLaughlin pleaded not guilty. 

The case was adjourned until December 2 for a review with a trial date sometime in the New Year. 

McLaughlin remains in custody.
