Detectives investigating a report of a sexual assault which occurred in the Lecky Road area of Derry on Sunday, October 27, have made a second arrest.
The woman, aged 36, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has subsequently been released pending report to Public Prosecution Service.
A man, aged in his 30s, was previously charged and appeared before Derry Magistrates Court yesterday, Tuesday, October 29.

Emmet Deehan (32) of no fixed abode was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on a woman on October 27.
He was also charged with sexually assaulting the woman by penetration on the same date.
Deehan was remanded in custody to appear again on November 21.
