Mother and baby wellness classes are starting soon in Aras Cholmcille, 59-61 Long Tower Street. The classs start on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14.
Experienced, qualified tutors Bronagh McNamara and Sinead Lynch will deliver these six-week programmes supporting the physical, mental and emotional health of mothers and babies from six weeks to one year.
The classes, delivered in a small-group setting (90 minutes once per week) will have a personal focus tailored to the individual needs and preference of participants and will include baby massage, bonding, appropriate exercise for mums, nutrition, self-care and emotional regulation among many other elements.
It's also simply an opportunity for mums to share the joys and challenges of motherhood in a mums supporting mums environment.
Mammies of all ages are welcome including young mums and mothers of babies with additional needs.
The courses are free of charge and supported by Heritage Lottery Awards For All.
