St Columba's Long Tower annual Novena for Our Lady of Perpetual Help

The annual Novena for Our Lady of Perpetual Help takes place in St Columba's Long Tower on the nine Sunday's before Christmas.

The annual Novena for Our Lady of Perpetual Help takes place in St Columba's Long Tower on the nine Sunday's before Christmas, beginning on Sunday, October 27 at 6.00pm.

This Nine-Sunday programme offers you the opportunity to take time for personal prayer and reflection.

As this year has been dedicated as Year of Prayer by Pope Francis, the theme for this year's Novena is 'The Power of Prayer', reflecting on the Lord's Prayer or the 'Our Father'.

Each Sunday evening, our inspirational guest speakers will discuss how this prayer of Jesus taught us is the model of all prayer and the foundation of our prayer-life.

Also inlcuded each night is the Rosary and a Eucharistic Healing Service, along with congregational hymn singing!

You are also warmly invited to leave your petitions in the box provided and your personal intentions and people you wish to pray for will be remembered each Novena night.

We invite you to join each Sunday night and experience the healing power of prayer during this special time before Christmas at Long Tower.
