Kevin McLaughlin has been shortlisted for the Northern Ireland FE College IT Educator Awards
North West Regional College computing lecturer Kevin McLaughlin has been shortlisted for the Northern Ireland FE College IT Educator Awards.
Kevin lives in Muff and has spent over 20 years as a lecturer. In that time he has helped over 600 students of all ages into new careers through Kickstart and various technical training initiatives with local IT companies.
Kevin has also spent time working with the Donegal Education Training Board (DETB) and Derry and Strabane District Council to deliver training programmes.
The awards are being hosted by The British Computer Society which recognises the work of innovative teachers in the IT sector.
The North West Regional College is delighted that Kevin has been nominated.

“Kevin plays a vital role at the college and his hard work is greatly appreciated by NWRC staff and pupils,” commented a spokesperson for the NWRC.
