Derry man charged with possessing nunchucks and knuckle dusters returned for trial

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with possessing nunchucks and knuckle dusters and a number of drug charges.
Christopher Dufoulon (43) of St. Brigid's Avenue in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He was charged with 12 counts of possession, supply and making offers to supply cannabis between March 29 and August 7 2021.
He was also charged with two counts of possession of offensive weapons, namely nunchucks and a knuckleduster on June 26 2021.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Dufoulon chose not to call any witnesses and not to submit any statements.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on October 23. And released on bail.
