Derry journalist releases novel after 25 years in the field

A Derry journalist has released a supernatural novel after 24 years in the industry. 

During her time as a reporter Leona O'Neill covered everything from terror attacks and murders to presidential visits and political scandals and literally everything in between and often allowed her many newsroom experiences to flavor her fiction writing.

She is a weekly newspaper columnist, a field producer for many international news outlets, and an avid campaigner for journalism safety and better mental health in newsrooms. 

A Derry Girl and a mum of four, and lives near Donegal, where she can often be found on a beach looking windswept and interesting with her husband and her dog.

The much anticipated supernatural fiction novel Perdition Street has now hit shelves and will be published by American publishing house Quill and Crow.
The book revolves around Dublin Private Detective Atlas Bishop, a soul binder who binds the souls of the murdered to their murderers with a view to dragging them to Hell.
It’s a nasty, violent business, but one Atlas  who has many of his own issues, chief amongst them anger issues  relishes.
