The man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning

Man (65) arrested in connection with dissident republican activity in County Derry

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating dissident republican activity, arrested a 59-year-old man in Draperstown yesterday, Friday 6th September.

The man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.

Anyone with any information that could assist us in combatting dissident republican activity is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
