The Derry Anti-War Coalition have condemned the sponsorship of the Portrush Airshow by companies who they claim are actively arming Israel.
Israel is being investigated for probable genocide using weapons and components from companies like Thales and Spirit Aerosystems.
A spokesperson for the Derry Anti-War Coalition said that it is "beyond any moral or ethical comprehension" that these companies are deemed suitable to sponsor a day billed as 'family entertainment'.
The spokesperson said: "The complicity of corporations like Thales and Spirit AeroSystems in the ongoing violence in Gaza has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt.
"These companies play a critical role in supplying weapons, drones, and components that are used to inflict suffering and devastation upon the Palestinian people.
"Both Thales and Spirit AeroSystems are involved in the manufacture and supply of various military technologies."
They added: "These weapons systems are employed to carry out actions that have led to tens of thousands of civilian deaths in Gaza.
"The actions of companies like Thales and Spirit AeroSystems are not only a moral outrage but may also be implicated in violations of international law.
"The highest legal authorities are currently investigating if Israel used the weaponry supplied to them to commit genocide.
"There is no greater crime than genocide. The acceptance of sponsorship from companies that have potentially provided weapons used in genocide by a local authority is not only unethical, it may be seen as complicity."
