Conars Court, where a gas leak was detected this week.
The leak was detected on Wednesday afternoon in the Crawford Square area of the city.
Two fire appliances from Northland Fire Station and one appliance from Crescent Link Fire Station attended the incident after a call was received at 2.02pm.
A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to reports of a confirmed gas leak at an apartment block on Conars Court, Crawford Square, Derry/Londonderry. Firefighters isolated the gas connection and carried out an evacuation.
“Firefighters left the incident once the gas levels returned to normal. The incident was dealt with by 3.46pm and the scene was left with the contractor.”
