Slimming World member Leigh Hillen.
Meet Leigh Hillen.. one of Slimming World's gorgeous members. A glamorous granny who turned 50 and felt fabulous.
I started SlimmingWorld because I needed to be healthy and none of my clothes fitted me anymore.
My answer was to buying bigger sized clothing but my close friend just mentioned to me that she noticed I'd got bigger so that's the kick up the ass I needed to hear.
I plucked up the courage to join slimmingworld in January 2022 and I haven't looked back since.
I love food optimising and I love that when I'm 100% on plan, I have loads more energy and feel so much better in myself.
I usually start my day off with porridge in the morning. I might have ham, pickles and beetroot for lunch and chicken fillets and chicken n mushroom pasta for dinner.
I love that I never feel deprived and can easily make a chicken curry, bolognese or lasagne to name a few, the food optimising way by making small changes to the way that I cooked.
I have to watch what I eat because of my condition, so I found the weight loss slow and steady which I was happy with.
If I feel like a snack I will eat Greek yogurt and sugar free jelly. Life has got so much better, not only have I recently turned 50 but Ive recently become a granny too.
I'm getting there with my weighty thank god and all my old good clothes now fit me again.
I just need to fit into one dress I love and I will be satisfied.
Slimming World has not only helped me lose weight but also has helped my mental health too.
I am a happier person not carrying the extra weight and looking in the mirror doesn't scare me anymore.
So if you're feeling depressed about trying to squeeze into a size 18, dig deep and go to SlimmingWorld.
It will change your life, it did mine.
