Derry Court
A woman has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges.
The woman was granted anonymity due to the general threat existing in the city appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.
She faced a total of 8 charges including possessing cannabis with intent to supply on August 7 2021 as well as two charges of possessing the drug on the same date.
The woman was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis on dates between December 1 2019 and August 8 2021.
She was further charged with two counts of offering to supply cocaine on December 24 2021.
The woman was also charged with offering to supply cannabis on January 17 2021.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
The woman said she did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
She was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on October 11 and released on continuing bail.
