A proposed Preliminary Enquiry against a Derry man charged with possessing articles for use in terrorism has been adjourned.
Kieran McCool (54) of Ballymagowan Gardens in Derry was due to face a preliminary enquiry today at Derry Magistrate's Court.
He is charged with one count of preparation of terrorist acts on dates between January 12016 and January 1 2022.
He also faces 7 counts of possessing articles for use in terrorism on various dates between December 31 2016 and May 15 2021.
At today's hearing a defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that they had only recently received papers in this case and they were 'voluminous and complex'.
He asked for a 4 week adjournment and said the PE should be in a position to proceed then.
A prosecution solicitor said that there was no problems with that application and the case was adjourned until July 19 for the PE to go ahead.
McCool is currently on bail.
