Here's the Donegal shop that sold €6million Lotto jackpot ticket

McCarron's Village Shop in Quigley's Point sold a winning jackpot ticket.

This small shop in Inishowen is in the grip of Lotto fever after selling a winning ticket worth a cool €6,373,878 to one lucky punter.

McCarron’s Village Shop in Quigley’s Point sold one of the two tickets that share Saturday night's €12,747,756 Lotto Jackpot prize.

National Lottery officials will be in Quigley's Point today to officially announce McCarron's Village Shop as one of the locations.

McCarron's Village Shop is located on the R238 next to The Point Inn.

Tuthills Newsagents in the Golden Island Shopping Centra in Athlone, Co. Westmeath sold the other winning ticket.

Both winners have made contact and arrangements are now being made for them to collect their life-changing prizes.

The winning lotto agent receives €15,000 for selling a winning jackpot but this prize will be shared with the seller of the other winning ticket in Westmeath.

Saturday night’s lotto jackpot was the largest so far in 2023. Since the Lotto game launched in 1988, only 28 jackpots in excess of €10million have been won.
