A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on assault charges.
James Logan (33) of Primrose Street in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He faces two charges one of wounding a man with intent to do grievous bodily harm on October 21 2022.
He was also charged with assaulting the same man on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Logan said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
Logan was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on July 6 and remanded in custody.
