Derry Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue
Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has welcomed a commitment from the Department for Infrastructure that they intend to upgrade the streetlights system at Nixon’s Corner.
She said “Residents had raised concerns with me that several streetlights weren’t working in the Nixon’s Corner area.
“I contacted the Department for Infrastructure and requested that the lights should be fixed.
"I am pleased that they have told me this street lighting installation is nearing the end of its lifecycle and is due for complete replacement.
“They will issue a design brief to get a street lighting design prepared for this location and add it to their Capital Renewal works programme subject to funding.”
