A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges.
The man who was granted anonymity, as District Judge Barney McElholm said the 'problem still exists', appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court today.
The man is charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis on dates between October 6 2015 and June 8 2016.
He also faces two charges of cultivating cannabis on February 3 2017 and on dates between October 6 2015 and June 8 2016.
Finally he was charged with possessing cannabis on February 3 2017.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
The man said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on June 13 and released on bail.
