Man to appear in court over un-notified parade in Derry

PSNI launches campaign to attract more Catholics

Detectives investigating offences surrounding an un-notified parade in the Creggan area of Derry on Easter Monday, 10th April have charged a man to court.

The 39-year-old who was arrested under the Terrorism Act, has been charged with a number of offences, including inviting support for a proscribed organisation and addressing a meeting for the purpose of encouraging support for a proscribed organisation.

He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 11th May.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
