Cash taken during Derry house burglary

The PSNI are appealing for anyone who knows anything

Police in Derry are investigating a report of a burglary at a house in Hollymount Park in the Waterside yesterday, (Monday, 3rd April), during which cash was taken.

Sergeant McGurk said: "The money was in a blue cash box taken from a bedroom sometime between 9.30am and 4.30pm. A bank card was also taken. 

"We know how distressing this type of crime is and the impact it can have.

"It's a despicable crime, and we're urging anyone who can assist us with our enquiries to call us on 101, quoting reference 1486 of 03/04/23.”
