Two men have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of waste management charges.
Robert Farren (52) of Larch Road in Ballykelly and Trevor Mulhern (49) of Altmoyer Road in Dungiven appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court today.
Both men faced a total of 7 charges that were said to have occurred on dates between January 1 2014 and June 21 2018.
They were both charged with unlawfully treating controlled waste, unlawfully keeping controlled waste, depositing controlled waste and disposing of waste at two sites one on Longland Road in Claudy and Tornoge Road in Donemana.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Neither man wanted to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
Both men were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on April 19 and released on bail.
