Derry Crown Court: Man pleads not guilty to theft of more than £23,000

A man charged with the theft of more than £23,000 from an organisation known as the Scripture Teaching Library has pleaded not guilty at Derry Crown Court.

Colin Glendinning (48) of Drumlea Park in Cookstown faces three charges of fraud by abuse of position on dates between December 30 2015 and October 25 2018.

He also faced one charge of false accounting on dates between January 24 and February 1 2019.

Finally he was charged with the theft of £23,326 on dates between December 30 2015 and October 25 2018.

When he appeared at Derry Crown Court today he pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The case was adjourned until March 30 for review and the defendant was released on bail.
