A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of charges.
James Donegan (34) of Glenabbey Road in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He was charged with handling goods stolen in the Republic of Ireland namely a vehicle on July 12 2022.
He was also charged with driving while disqualified on the same date and assaulting a police officer again on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Donegan said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on March 30 and released on bail.
