A man and a woman have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges.
Michelle McGinley (35) of Knockdara and Michael Miller (35) of Winchester Park both in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
Miller faces a total of 6 charges relating to possessing cannabis and attempted possession of the drug with intent to supply on dates in July and December 2021.
He is also charged with possessing and attempted possession of cannabis on similar dates.
McGinley is charged with obstruction of a person during a drug search on December 10 2021.
She is also charged with possessing cannabis on the same date and being concerned in the offer to supply cannabis on July 16 2021.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Neither of the defendants said they wished to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
They were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on March 8 and released on bail.
