A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of brothel keeping and a drugs charge.
Constantin Catalin Diaconu (30) of Ferguson Street in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He is charged with brothel keeping on dates between August 6 2021 and October 25 2021.
He was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine on dates between August 4 2021 and September 20 2021.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Diaconu said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on February 9 and remanded in custody.
