Huge amounts of rubbish have been left outside council dumps in Derry.
It follows yesterday's one-day strike by Derry City Council staff as part of a major public sector dispute over pay.
Local dumps at Pennyburn, Brandywell and Glendermott Road (pictured above) in the Waterside were closed yesterday because of the strike.
However, dozens of people who visited the dumps decided to leave their rubbish at the entrances to the sites, instead of coming back another day.
Their actions have angered people living and working near the council dumps.
