Ciaran McNicholl, a member of Charley and The Honky Tonk Angels Line Dancers, presents an acrylic painting which he painted himself of a cowboy boot and hat to Bernie and Charley O'Kane.
Benedy Community Association Chairperson Sabina O'Kane and the committee members received a cheque for £3,080 from Charley and The Honky Tonk Angels Line Dancers recently.
The money was raised from a sponsored sea dip at Portrush followed by a disco in the Benedy Community Hall, Dungiven.
Bernie and Charley O'Kane from the Honky Tonk Angels Line Dancers would like to especially thank the line dancers as it would not have been possible to raise the money without them.
Charley and Bernie O'Kane would also like to thank their sponsors Eamonn and Geraldine McGuigan for providing the food for the sea dip and the disco.
Also, they would like to thank anybody that donated prizes for the draw and anyone else that helped out in any way to make the night a great success.
Benedy Community Association also wish to thank Charley and The Honky Tonk Angels Line Dancers for organising the sea dip and disco and in raising the fantastic sum of £3,080.
Sabina said: "Thanks to everyone who participated in the event and to all who attended the disco. A special thanks to everyone for their continuing generosity and support for our group which is deeply appreciated."
