Toome firm Uform acquires TKC in landmark industry deal

The company are looking forward to welcoming colleagues from TKC into the group.

Uform, an industry leader in the supply of doors and accessories to the kitchen, bedroom and living space markets across the UK & Ireland, today announces the acquisition of TKC, further strengthening the Uform Group’s position within the kitchen sector.

Toome-based Uform and TKC have built an enviable reputation across the Independent Kitchen Retail, Contract and Trade Manufacturing channels. Uform has been underpinned by its core strengths in product quality, innovation, service and breadth of range. The acquisition represents a significant strategic step for Uform, in expanding its reach and capability by creating new market opportunities in new channels, and a physical presence in Great Britain.

TKC brings complementary expertise and a strong position in the Merchant and Trade channels, an area identified as a major growth opportunity for Uform. By combining Uform’s scale, manufacturing capability and customer focus with TKC’s channel strength, the Group will be better positioned to broaden its offering, enhance flexibility for customers, and unlock new routes to market. Together, the businesses will be the largest specialist supplier to the kitchen market and will offer an expanded product portfolio, creating a more complete and compelling proposition for customers across all channels.

Uform is also pleased to announce that David Adams will join as Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of growth for the combined Uform and TKC businesses.

David brings significant senior leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth, operational performance, and customer service.
