Police in Limavady have charged a man to court.
This follows the report of an altercation in Limavady yesterday, Sunday, March 22.
The 27-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including two counts of assault on police, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and resisting arrest.
He is due to appear before Antrim Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24.
As is usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A second man, arrested in connection with the investigation remains in police custody.
