Bar pool competition raises vital funds for The Open Doors Club in Swatragh

Pool Competition finalists Sean McLarnon and Brian Mullan along with Pool Coordinator Paddy McCready and Angela Kirkpatrick, of Wee Pat’s Bar.

The Open Doors Club in Swatragh has received a generous donation thanks to the organisers of a pool competition.

Wee Pat's Bar in Swatragh recently raised £685 through its annual pool competition and presented the funds to the voluntary group which offers support to vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged people living in the rural community.

The event was organised by local man Paddy McCready.

A spokesperson for The Open Door Club said: “Thank you to everyone who participated in the competition. Special thanks to Wee Pat’s Bar, staff and customers for their continuing generosity and kindness to our group, as this is greatly appreciated.”
