To mark the tenth anniversary of the tragic passing of their beloved father Declan, at the age of just 39, the McGlinchey family and their friends in Bellaghy organised a day of fundraising in aid of Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke at Bellaghy GAC.
In the morning a ‘Dads and Lads’ 9-a-side Gaelic football match was held, alongside a coffee morning in the club.
In the evening the family organised an Irish folk night - a night to appreciate and remember Declan McGlinchey on his tenth anniversary.
Through the day the McGlinchey family raised an incredible £7,368 in memory of Declan.
Many thanks to everyone for their generosity in supporting the day and to the local businesses who donated raffle prizes.
