The much-loved Flowerfield Arts Centre Christmas Craft Market in Portstewart returned on Saturday past.

Approaching the festive season, County Derry is beginning to sparkle with a host of Christmas craft fairs planned for across the County.

Ready to delight shoppers with handmade treasures, festive food, and plenty of holiday cheer, shoppers in Limavady and beyond can embrace the spirit of the season while supporting talented local artisans.

From delicate ornaments and cosy knitwear to gourmet goodies and one-of-a-kind gifts, there’s something for everyone on your Christmas list.

The much-loved Flowerfield Arts Centre Christmas Craft Market in Portstewart returned on Saturday November 15 and runs through to Tuesday December 23, open daily from 10am – 4pm, with extended hours on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.

Wander through stalls filled with the finest local crafts, all made right here in Northern Ireland, many from within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough, by small and independent makers.

Following the success of their Autumn Markets, the Old Bellarena Primary School will be the venue for a series of Christmas Markets on November 21 - 7 to 9pm, November 22 - 10am to 4pm, December 5 - 7pm to 9pm and December 6 - 10am to 4pm.

Pop in for a cuppa, a chat, and some festive shopping for stocking fillers and gifts whilst helping to raise funds for local charities and community groups.

Magilligan Community Association was the beneficial recipient of £185 raised by the Autumn markets in the same venue.

Join the Limavady Amateur Swimming Club for their annual fair on Saturday November 22, from 11am to 3pm at the Roe Valley Leisure Centre.

This family-friendly event offers festive fun, creative crafts, and plenty of inspiration for Christmas gift-giving, all in support of LASC.

Make a weekend of it at the Fat Fox Café, Cumber House, Claudy, where the annual Christmas Food and Craft Fayre takes place on November 22 to 23 from 10am to 4pm.

With 35 local makers, bakers, and artisans, this event supports the Foyle Hospice, so every handmade gift or mince pie purchased goes toward a wonderful cause.

Santa will be visiting from 12pm to 3pm, and free tickets are available to book for a hot chocolate with the man himself!

Your next venue for Christmas shopping is Drummond Cricket Club on Friday November 28 7pm to 9pm for their annual Christmas Fayre.

Enjoy an evening of local crafts, homemade produce and sweet treats, a relaxed and heartwarming way to support both the club and local artisans.

The Ballyness Resort in Drumsurn will host a Christmas Fayre on Sunday November 30, promising festive sparkle, local talent, music, refreshments, and children’s entertainment, the perfect recipe for a magical holiday afternoon.

Sunday November 30 is also the launch date of the very first Christmas Market from the Twinkle Market at the Roe Valley Resort taking place from 12pm to 4pm.

Browse jewellery, art, clothing, and knitwear, all beautifully crafted by local creatives representing an unmissable showcase of local talent and thoughtful gift ideas.

Limavady Central Primary School will hold its Christmas Craft Fair and Coffee Evening on Thursday December 4 at 6.30pm.

Admission is free and visitors can enjoy a wide range of gifts, festive games, Santa’s Village, and even Mrs Claus’ Kitchen, promising fun for the whole family!

The Roe Valley Speciality Christmas Market returns to Drumceatt Square, outside the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, on Saturday December 6 from 11am to 4pm.

Packed with local artisan makers, festive treats, and cosy Christmas vibes, the Drumceatt Square market is the perfect place to pick up unique gifts and savour the season.

Also on Saturday December 6, St Mary’s High School in Limavady will host its own Christmas Craft Fair from 10am to 3pm, which is sure to be a cheerful celebration of creativity, community and festive spirit.

Our roundup concludes with Rossmar School’s Christmas Fair on Wednesday December 10 from 10am to 12pm with lots of homemade crafts and baked goods on sale.
