Feeny teenager Fiona O'Neill won the modelling competition.
Teenage beauty Fiona O’Neill has been crowned the winner of Miss Teen Winter Wonderland 2025.
The 15 year-old Feeny girl won the prestigious modelling competition which was held in Cookstown’s Glenavon Hotel earlier this month.
Fiona got into modelling in May this year and the competition, organised by Northern Ireland School of Modelling, was her first.
Wearing a dress from Garvagh-based formal and bridesmaid boutique, She’s Fabulous, Fiona wowed the judges with her beauty, confidence and personality.
She was initially crowned Miss Photogenic before going on to win the Miss Teen Winter Wonderland title.
A student at St Patrick’s College in Dungiven, Fiona has won herself an all inclusive trip with full entourage to the Mediterranean in 2026. While there she will model for a photoshoot to be published in a leading magazine.
“Winning the Miss Winter Wonderland modelling competition was amazing. When I heard my name, I felt so happy and surprised,” Fiona said afterwards.
“It was a great feeling to know all my hard work had paid off. The support from my friends and family made it even more special, and it gave me more confidence to keep going with my modelling.”
Fiona’s proud mum Charlene said her daughter has always been interested in modelling and even did her own hair and makeup for the competition.
“We contacted Ann Connor of Northern Ireland School of Modelling around May this year as this is something Fiona always wanted to do. She has completed a calendar photo shoot at Glenveagh National Park in Donegal and she has just finished her training with the school of modelling and is set to graduate on 15th of November,” Charlene said.
“We are very proud of Fiona. She is a beautiful girl inside and out. She was very committed to her training and put a lot of effort into choosing her outfits. Fiona has gained so much confidence since joining the Northern Ireland School of Modelling and has met a lot of new friends. She is very excited for her trip to the Mediterranean next year. We are all looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Fiona.”
The annual Miss Winter Wonderland NISM event was compered by Joanne Salley with entertainment being provided by Sheamus Heaney.
Fashion from County Derry retailers, Mini Me in Magherafelt and She’s Fabulous in Garvagh, were also showcased on the catwalk that day.
Organiser, Ann Connor, MD of Northern Ireland School of Modelling, said: “Last Sunday afternoon the annual Miss Winter Wonderland NISM event took place at the Glenavon Hotel in Cookstown which was a huge success, with stunning competitors and models showcasing dazzling fashion.
“I am so proud of Fiona and I am looking forward to working with her in the future events coming up.”
