The man is due to be arraigned at Derry Crown Court next month.
A Desertmartin man is due to go on trial charged with a number of drug related offences.
Appearing before a preliminary enquiry at Magherafelt Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Derry Court, earlier this morning was Conor Mallon.
The 30 year-old, of Cherryvale Avenue, is accused of possession of Class A drugs on December 20 2024.
Mallon is further charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and unlawfully supplying a Class A drug to another.
Both charges are alleged to have been committed on December 20 2024 also.
Mallon declined to give evidence or call witnesses during the short hearing.
Judge Brian Archer released Mallon on his own bail of £500 to return for arraignment at Derry Crown Court on September 15.
