Motorists advised to avoid Garvagh as parade due to take place in village this evening

Officers will be on the ground to assist with traffic and enable access to residents

The PSNI have advised motorists to avoid Garvagh this evening while a band parade takes place.

Road users are advised to expect traffic delays in Garvagh this evening, Friday, July 18, due to a planned parade. 

The parade will begin on the Coleraine Road at 8pm before moving onto Lower Main Street - Upper Main Street - Kurin Road - Upper Main Street - Lower Main Street and back to Coleraine Road, to finish at approximately 11pm.

Officers will be on the ground to assist with traffic and enable access to residents.

However, if you are not attending the parade, please seek an alternative route for your journey where possible.
