A new post office branch is set to open in Dungiven with services available seven days a week.

A branch will open at Musgrave Retail’s shop at 804 Feeny Road on the outskirts of the town.

It is due to open on Monday, November 10 at 1pm.

This Feeny Road branch will offer customers Post Office services from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items and everyday banking. There will be Euros available on demand and people can do top ups for Post Office Travel Moneycard. Customers can also do Western Union money transfers.

The service will be one of the local style branches with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point carefully integrated into the retail counter.

Post Office services will be available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and on  Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.

This will offer customers 53 hours of Post Office service a week, making it very convenient for customers.

The new branch aims to offer even more convenience to Post Office customers by extending the availability of Post Offices services in the Feeny Road area of Dungiven.

Adam Shillcock, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best. We know how important our services are to customers, and we are confident that this brand- new Post Office will ensure that people in the Dungiven area have easy access to our services.”
