Mid Ulster District Council is inviting organisations and businesses to submit proposals for flowerbed and planting sponsorship in towns and villages across the district.

This is a great opportunity for local organisations and businesses to increase their profile and visibility by displaying their name and logo at various prominent positions throughout the Mid Ulster area.

Sponsorship will be for a period of one year, commencing from September 1 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Speaking about the sponsorship opportunities, Chair of the Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, said, “As Chair, I’m proud of the strong community spirit our local businesses show every day. One fantastic way to get involved and help our towns and villages look their best is through the Council’s flowerbed and planting sponsorship scheme.

“By sponsoring a flowerbed, your business will be helping to bring vibrant colour to our public spaces - welcoming residents and visitors alike with beautiful displays that reflect the pride we all share in our towns and villages. Each sponsored bed includes a sign with your business name, offering a lovely way to boost your visibility while supporting a greener, more attractive environment.

“I encourage all businesses, big or small, to take part. Let’s work together to make our towns and villages blossom!”

Submissions are invited from Monday, April 28 and must be received by Friday, May 16.
