Darcy Taylor has enjoyed representing her county in Chicago.
The 2024 Derry Rose said she is delighted to be representing her county in the USA this St Patrick’s Day.
Bellaghy’s Darcy Taylor has spent the last few days in Chicago where she took part in the annual St Patrick’s Day parade.
A post on the Derry Rose of Tralee’s Instagram account stated: “Derry Rose Darcy Taylor had an amazing time in Chicago watching the iconic river being dyed green and walking in the Chicago St Patrick’s Day Parade.
“A huge thank you to Chicago Rose Megan Cahill and the Chicago Rose Centre for organising this trip.”
Darcy is now looking forward to spending St Patrick’s Day in New York.
“Now Darcy is on her way to New York for one of the oldest and largest St Patrick’s Day’s festival in the world.”
Meanwhile, Antrim, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone are currently taking applications for the 2025 Rose of Tralee.
