St. Finlough's Primary School in Glack welcomed our children's grandparents to school on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to thank them for the cherished role they play in our lives.

We held a special assembly where we also remembered St. Brigid and Aileen our classroom assistant on her second anniversary.

Grandparents were welcomed with pictures and cards from the children. They made St. Brigid's crosses with their grandchildren. The children read some beautiful prayers and shared stories with their grandparents.

After spending time in the classroom with their grandchildren, grandparents had lovely tea and buns with us.

St Finlough's would like to thank all the grandparents who attended, making the celebration a truly special occasion.

The day served as a reminder of the invaluable role grandparents play in shaping the lives of their grandchildren and the entire community.
