Irish country star Declan Nerney and his band set to perform at Ballyronan Marina Centre this weekend

Declan Nerney and his band are bound for Ballyronan this Saturday night.

Country star Declan Nerney and his band will be performing in Ballyronan this weekend.

The gig is scheduled to take place in the Marina Centre on Saturday, May 11 and promises to be a fantastic night's entertainment.

The afterparty event has been organised to celebrate four successful performances of Mrs Browne, The Noisey Neighbour.

The finale of the popular play will be held tomorrow night (Friday) in the Marina Centre with all proceeds going to Mid Ulster autsim support group FACTS.

On Saturday night, live music will kick off at 9pm with Declan Nerney and the band expected to take to the stage around 11pm.

Declan Nerney is one of Ireland’s best known country singers.

Known for songs like Stop the World (and Let Me Off) and Marquee in Drumlish, he started playing music with bands such as The Hi- Lows, Gene Stuart and then Brian Coll and the Buckaroos.

The Co Longford native has been on the road for 35 years with his own band.

Saturday night's show is a ticket only event. Tickets which cost £20 are limited and can be purchased here
