Part of the under side of the roof at the Apex building has come loose
Due to a report of an insecure building, Butcher Street in Derry is currently closed to traffic and pedestrians.
Magazine Street, Fahan Street and Waterloo Street in the same area are also partially closed.
Police in the city are advising people to avoid the area.
