A Silent Vigil for Peace in Gaza has been organised for the County Derry town of Dungiven.
The vigil begins at 9.30am, on Saturday, November 18, at the car park of St Canice's GAA club.
Speaking to County Derry Post, co-organiser Tricia Harkin said the Vigil for Peace in Gaza had been organised by St Canice's Ladies Football girls and St Patrick's Camogie girls.

"Everybody is just distraught about what is going on in Gaza and if we can make any difference, we will try anything," added Tricia, who is the Chairperson of St Canice's Ladies.
"The situation is on everybody's mind at the minute. Everybody is talking about it. We have taken part in similar events in the past, including one which followed the killing of Aisling Murphy in Tullamore last year.
"It is really a coming together as a community to show our support. Innocent people, adults, children and babies, have been caught up in the situation in Gaza. You can hardly bear to watch the news now it so depressing.
"We just want peace for them. We want help. We want humanitarian aid delivered to them safely and hostages released," said Tricia.
She added: "We will meet together at 9.30am in St Canice's GAA car park. We will then walk a lap of the town and finish in the Castle car park, where we will line out in the form of the word 'PEACE' and drone and aerial footage will be taken from above. We are also asking everyone who is taking part to wear white."
Tricia said she appreciated everybody was busy, especially at this time of the year, but she asked that people would take an hour out of their morning "to show support for the people of Gaza".
"People coming out in numbers and supporting each other is good," said Tricia.
