Lee Johnston's body was found on Wednesday, 11 days after he went missing.
The funeral of a man found dead in Maghera earlier this week will take place on Tuesday.
Lee Johnston’s body was discovered close to the Mullagh Lane area of the town on Wednesday evening.
The 21 year-old, who was from Coleraine but had been living in the south Derry town, had been missing for 11 days before his body was discovered.
Last Tuesday, a 33 year-old man and 31 year-old woman were arrested and questioned by detectives investigating Mr Johnston’s disappearance however they were later released on bail.
On Friday, police confirmed that a post mortem examination had concluded and that the body discovered had been identified.
Superintendent Michael O’Loan, District Commander for Mid Ulster, said: “Police can confirm that this is the body of the high risk missing person Lee Johnston. His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
“Our thoughts today are very much with Lee’s family and friends as they mourn his loss.”
Mr Johnston’s funeral service will leave McKiernan’s Funeral Home in Kilrea on Tuesday (October 24) at 2.15pm for a graveside service and committal in Coleraine Cemetery at 3pm.
A death notice states that Lee is the son of Liam and Maud and brother of Stephen, Leanne, Abbie and the late Paul and Dylan.
The notice added that the wake house is private.
