Two men, who were jailed after being convicted of painting a mural at the headquarters of dissident republicans in Derry depicting a snowman with a command wire, will have their appeals heard on November 8.
The cases of William McDonnell (37) of Balbane Pass and Jordan Devine (22) of Bishop Street, who were convicted with possessing articles giving rise to a reasonable suspicion they were members or supporters of a proscribed organisation on dates between November 23, 2022 and January 19, 2023 were mentioned today at the County Court in Bishop Street.
Devine had been sentenced to three months in prison while McDonnell had been jailed for four months.
At today's hearing a date was set for the appeal to be heard on November 8.
