The man, aged 33, is due to appear before Derry Court today.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of 56-year-old Cornelius O’Neill in Kilrea on Tuesday, August 29 have charged a man to court.
The 33-year-old has been charged with murder, and is due to appear before Bishop Street courthouse in Derry this morning (Thursday, August 31).
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
